The Perpetual Lie About Lucifer

Excerpt
When the infamous
Roman curator Pilate questioned Jesus
Christ of Nazareth
concerning His kingship, Jesus said,
"You say rightly that I
am a king. For this cause I was
born, and for this cause
I have come into the world, that I should bear
witness to the truth.
Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice" (John
18:37). Jesus
came to shine light in the darkness, and hearing His Spirit's
voice is essential today
to discern the truth concerning the devil.
In Jesus' day, the
majority of the Jewish people did not hear Jesus when
He spoke truth to them. On
one occasion when Jesus was confronting
some influential Pharisees
about the truth of His identity and their
true identity, Jesus
spoke these words to them:
You are of your
father the devil, and the desires of your
father you want to do. He (the devil) was a murderer from
the beginning, and does not stand in the
truth, because there is no truth
in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for
he is a liar and the father of it
(John 8:44).
Many believers in Christ
and nonbelievers are being deceived today about Lucifer and the lies he
brought into the human race. Too many
Christian people think
that Satan still has power in the lives of believers,
and that some day Jesus will return to totally defeat him. The lie
must be uncovered. The liar has already
been defeated.
In order to uncover the
lie about Lucifer (whom Jesus addressed as the
devil), we must understand
that the Bible tells us the history of the redemption of God's covenant
people, including the devil's demise. A
sad commentary on
Christianity is the fact that the majority have
failed to see the big
picture of God's plan of creation and redemption
and the part Lucifer
played.
Mature spiritual
discernment of the spirit world is essential in
uncovering the lie about Lucifer....
